I was told to not throw my idea away so I am posting this blog after all.
I wanted to write and post it because today is fur-free friday. What better day would there be to make a post like this then on this day? None, right? I thought so too.
So, my question to you all is: Are you wearing fur? Any kind of fur, mink, fox, dog, cat, raccoon, seal, chinchilla, bunny, bear?
Do you own one of these coats or of course a simular one?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, keep on reading. If the answer is no, but I would like to own one, keep reading, if the answer is HELL NO I would not want to wear somebody else's skin and it makes me sick to think of these poor animals you better walk away and stop reading NOW!
Now I will show you all what it is like for the poor animals living their lives confined in small cages just before they are killed, skinned and tossed away like they are just a empty can of soda.
These cats are not even stray cats, they are not bred for it, they are just being picked up from the streets and put in these small cages
The same goes for dogs. Can you imagine your housefriend in a small cage like this, not being able to stand up, turn around, or even eat or drink?
Would you be able to watch this in the streets and think of your furcoat instead of these poor animals being so cruelly treated?
Animals like these are starving as you can see in the next picture.
And for the next one. Have you ever realized this whoever wears fur?
Want to see more? I bet you will say no but as a furcoat wearer if this has not put you off yet you just have to see these next pictures. Do they deserve this?
Does he deserve to feel a foot on his neck?
Does she deserve to be drowned so her coat remains intact?
Does this babyseal deserve to be clubbed?
Does he deserve the horrors they put him through?
And for the end. Tell me, furwearers, can you watch this and still want to wear your coat?
Can you watch this poor animal being skinned?
What about this raccoon? Does he deserve to be skinned ALIVE for your coat?
Do these dogs deserve to hang around like this?
What about this raccoon, think he had it coming?
These were not even the most horrible pictures. Be aware for the next ones!
This raccoon was just thrown on a pile of his dead friends after being skinned. Remember him from an earlier picture, guess what, he is still breathing, swallowing, blinking crying out in pain.
Could you be like that woman and just walk past this pile of dead babyseals without feeling like you could puke at any moment?
Here is the raccoon again, or maybe one of his friends who is also still in agonizing pain
See, the poor animal raises his head. What have you done I can imagine he thinks that. Why did you need my coat? I need my coat to live!
This fox was just an accidental kill on a deerhunt but killed and skinned for her fur anyway.
This young seal never has been able to eat a real fish or swim in the sea. He was just a baby when he was clubbed and skinned so you could wear your sealcoat.
What has this poor mink ever done to you?
Or this doggie?
This dog was put on the hook when he was still alive! Can you imagine the pain it went through as it hang, crying out for help and in pain, on the hook while they ripped his skin off?
This poor bunny is obviously still alive.
Can you watch this and say that you are happy with your coat now?
This fox should have never have to give up her coat for you!
Now for the end I would like to ask you something.
Let the animals keep the coat that belongs to them! They need it to survive.

Even she loves the books!
So, when I was reading City of Glass earlier this year I was sitting outside, enjoying the sunlight and the animals around me. The young goats came to say hello and soon my favorite girl found me.
I was reading as I said before so she did not get the attention she was used on getting from me. When I stopped reading to take a few pictures before going back to work the little girl just had to check the book out.
And guess what, she loved the book! She did not try to read it (think the girl just can't read English, she is a Dutchy of course!) but she kept watching it for some strange reason until I took the book and got it away from her. (The book remained unharmed which could not be said of my hair....)
